Our RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) Sensors — in PT100 (100Ω at 0°C) and PT1000 (1000Ω at 0°C) configurations — deliver the highest accuracy and best long-term stability of any industrial temperature sensor, conforming to IEC 60751 Class A (±0.15°C at 0°C) or Class B (±0.3°C at 0°C) tolerances. Unlike thermocouples that generate a millivolt signal requiring compensation, PT100/PT1000 sensors produce a resistance change that is highly linear and inherently stable over time, making them the preferred choice in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing, precision laboratory equipment, food processing, and any application demanding measurement accuracy better than ±1°C over the long term.
