A Pressure Gauge with Diaphragm Seal Assembly (also known as a gauge/diaphragm seal system or gauge/isolator assembly) combines a standard Bourdon tube pressure gauge with a chemically resistant diaphragm seal into a single integrated measurement solution. The flexible metallic diaphragm physically separates the gauge's wetted parts from the process media, while a precisely metered quantity of fill fluid (silicone oil, food-grade oil, or inert halocarbon) transmits the process pressure hydraulically to the gauge. This assembly is the universal solution for measuring pressure of corrosive, viscous, clogging, or ultra-high-purity media that would destroy or contaminate a directly connected gauge, providing reliable measurement without the maintenance penalties of a remote diaphragm seal connected via a capillary tube.
